Every two weeks, a language disappears.

Did you know about Kulina, the language spoken by just 30 people in the Brazilian Amazon? How about Kiliwa, which is only spoken by 8 indians in Mexico’s Baja California desert?
You might not think much of this, but in reality its absolutely tragic for even a single language to die out. Think of the hundreds or even thousands of years it takes to create a language into what it is today. All of those experiences can be lost, but shouldn’t be. Think of it like not just a form of art, but a beautiful expression of life. I think what google is doing is a great thing.
